Urban development and habitat destruction are creating significant challenges for wildlife, forcing animals to navigate dangerous areas and leaving them without safe spaces to live. In this activity, kids will learn about the importance of wildlife corridors and how animals use instinct and environmental clues to find resources and migrate. They’ll explore how fragmented habitats affect animal populations and how animals rely on secure, safe spaces to thrive. Kids will then take action by building small shelters using natural materials like twigs, leaves, and stones, providing homes for local wildlife such as birds, insects, and small mammals. This hands-on experience teaches children about the critical role animals play in ecosystems, how human activities disrupt their habitats, and how creating safe spaces can help animals survive and thrive.

The objectives of this program are as follows:

1. Encourage children to engage, explore, experiment, analyze, and experience the wonders of wildlife.
2. Encourage children the ability to build and develop their critical thinking skills, where they would need to learn to make decisions and problem solve.
3. Encourage children to appreciate and show respect for wildlife.
