Nature Art & Craft

Did you know in our natural environment, there are so many different types of nature elements that we can use to make art?  Leaves, tree barks, pine cones,  branches and sticks and so many more items can be used to make and create a variety of arts and crafts.  It’s Nature Art and Craft for the month of July ‘24 and this time we will be going to Taman Rekreasi Bukit Jalil to explore their nature elements and to develop our creativity skills.   

Children will be going on a nature scavenger hunt to hunt for nature items that they can use for their art & craft masterpieces.  We will also be doing a science experiment on colours to encourage children to discover and explore the mixture of colours.  The process of art and crafts is extremely important for children to work on their fine motor skills, their concentration and attention span as well as to build their critical thinking and creativity skills and what’s better than to do it in the great outdoors where the large freedom of space encourages children to explore and get creative.   

Objective of this program are as follow:

1. Encourage children to engage, explore, experiment, analyse and experience 
2. Encourage children the ability to build and develop their critical thinking skills, where they would need to learn to make decisions and problem solve.
3. Encourage children to build on their sensory skills, fine and gross motor skills
