October is all about fungi! Kids will discover that mushrooms are not plants but fungi, which play a vital role in nature by breaking down dead plants and recycling nutrients. On a forest walk, children will learn to identify different types of mushrooms and their unique shapes. This activity will teach them about how fungi help keep the forest healthy and support other plants and animals. The day will end with a fun mushroom craft, helping kids remember how important fungi are in nature’s balance.

Objective of this program are as follow:

1. Encourage children to engage, explore, experiment, analyse and experience. 
2. Encourage children the ability to build and develop their critical thinking skills, where they would need to learn to make decisions and problem solve.
3. Encourage children to understand and learn about the fungi.
